The Bronze Beret: Norman Von Nida Style

Back in the day, most golfers wore flat caps. So what did you wear if you wanted to be a parrot among the crows?

For Norman von Nida, one of Australia’s greatest golfers, the answer was a beret.

Like most style gestures that are original, the beret became so associated with Von Nida that when he was immortalized in bronze, so was his choice in headgear.
